Connie Minks, daughter of the late Melvin Minks and Dorothy Marie Groves Minks, was born Feb. 4, 1953, at Bonne Terre and died in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis on Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the age of 52.
Ms. Minks was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter, a former employee of Tyson Foods in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.
Survivors include one son, Cody Minks of Dexter; one brother, Dennis MInks of Greenville; three sisters, Becky Douglas of Bloomfield, Judy Ledford of Astatula, Fla., and Sheila McCoy of Dexter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Minks and Melvin George Minks.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 1 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Bentley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
