Marvin Brotherton, son of the late Cleve Brotherton and Grace Brough Brotherton, was born March 24, 1914, in Oklahoma and died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Malden at the age of 91.

On Oct. 28, 1937, he was united in marriage to Lola Jane Fine.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Brotherton of Malden; two daughters, Pat Hendley of Bernie and Jerri Jenkins of Malden; two brothers, Orville Brotherton of Pomona and Robert Brotherton of West Plains; two sisters, Florene Mason and Evelyn Brotherton, both of Alma, Ill.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held from noon - 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Rosewood Cemetery in Malden with Rev. John Adams officiating.

Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery.
