Joyce Ross, 55, of Malden was born Aug. 19, 1949, at Gideon and died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at her residence in Malden. She was the daughter of Clifford Glen Klutts and Jessie Lee Roberts Klutts.

She was a hair stylist and in direct sales with national companies. She was of the Baptist faith.

On Jan. 16, 1981, she was united in marriage to Marvin Ross in Gray Ridge.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Ross of Malden; one son, Danny Maddox of Dallas, Texas; one step-daughter, Karen Wills of Bloomfield; three brothers, Phillip E. Klutts of Memphis, Tenn., Paul Roberts of Bellingham, Wash., and Jerome Klutts of Dexter; two sister, Dorothy Branam of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Ernestine Pattillo of Malden; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rhonda Gail; and one step-son, Greg Allen Ross.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. Jared Owens officiating.

Interment will follow in Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
