Jim Delano Shelby

Jimmie Delano Shelby, son of Elizabeth Austin and the late Conrad Shelby, was born at Flint, Mich., on May 1, 1942, and died at his home in Bloomfield on Friday, July 22, 2005, at the age of 63.

Mr. Shelby had been a resident of Bloomfield the past 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and a retired construction worker.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Austin of Bloomfield; two sons, John and James Shelby, both of Gaylord, Mich.; one daughter, Tracy Shelby of Gaylord, Mich.; four sister, Barbara Bailey of Dexter, Carolyn Ross and Beverly Massieomi, both of Flushing, Mich., and Linda Crowe of Wappapello.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with all arrangements by Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
