He had been a car salesman. He was a veteran from World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, Quartermaster Second Class. He served on the U.S.S.C.P. Cecil and U.S.S. Furse. He received the World War II Victory Medal and the American Area Medal. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter.
Survivors include one son, David Pritchett of Chester, Va.; and one sister, Peggy Trover of Malden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. Freddie Bowen officiating.
