He was united in marriage to Verna C. Clubb on July 5, 1941, at Bloomfield. She preceded him in death on Dec. 7, 1998.
Mr. Teeters was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He had been a salesman during his life and was a member of Sunnyvale General Baptist Church of rural Malden, had been an active member of The Gideons International and was a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Teeters of Savannah, Tenn., and David Teeters of Bernie; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents and his wife by nine brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Missouri Funeral Honors Guard.
