Miss Rachel Lynn Jarrell and Mr. Joseph Dalton Woods, Jr. were united in marriage on July 9, 2005, at 1 p.m. at the home of the bride's mother.

A reception was held at the West City Park following the ceremony.

Rachel is the daughter of Pam Hurst of Dexter.

Joseph is the son of Tina and Richard Collins of Malden.

A double-ring ceremony was performed by Cody Mosbey of Poplar Bluff.

The bride was given away by her grandfather, Carl Jarrell of Dexter.

Matron of honor was Gena Howdeshell of South Carolina, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Karen Fields of Dexter, best friend of the bride.

Groomsman was Douglas Hurst, Jr. of Puxico, step-brother of the bride. Ringbearer was Tyler Brakhane of Illinois, cousin of the bride.

The flower girl was Lisa Ballenger of Dexter, friend of the couple.

The couple will reside in Dexter.
