Jerry Dewain Bridgeman, 54, of Qulin, was born Dec. 28, 1950, at Cape Girardeau, the son of Sylvester and Almeda Ladd Bridgeman, and died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at the Advance Nursing Center.

He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

On July 28, 1975, he and Emma "Sue" Baucom were united in marriage, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, Sylvester and Almeda Bridgeman of Advance; a son, Westley Bridgeman of Qulin; a daughter, Rhonda Wisdom of Advance; a sister, Sharon Hart of Advance; and a grandchild.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Ronnie Winchester officiating.

Interment followed in Rock Point Cemetery near Advance.
