Dr. Davis was born Sept. 16, 1941, in Senath. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Denise Davis; and a son, Donald Ray Davis, Jr. in 1986.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Davis; daughters, Donna Sale and Shelly Doyen; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters; and four brothers.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at Senath McDaniel Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, at the Senath McDaniel Chapel.

Interment will follow in Senath Cemetery.

Senath McDaniel Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Heights Baptist Church in Springtown.
