Mrs. Harty had lived in St. Louis from 1968 until 1987 when she moved to Wappapello. She was of the Baptist faith.
On Dec. 1, 1937, she was married to Franklin William Harty. He preceded her in death on april 1, 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Patsy Crawford of Cape Girardeau and Marjorie Lawrence of Puxico; two sons, Loyd Harty of Wappapello and Michael Harty of Dexter; four sisters, Dorothy Scott and Nadine Gaines, both of Puxico, Loreine Kieth of Poplar Bluff, and Wilma Crawford of Wappapello; two brothers, Cletus Wilfong of Springfield and Dale Wilfong of Wappapello; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
Visitation was held after 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Ray Placher and Rev. Scott Sifford, both of Puxico, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of all arrangements.
