Margaret Elizabeth Mast, daughter of the late Joseph Overholt and Mary Ann Hershberger, was born on March 4, 1958, at Virginia Beach, Va., and died in her residence near Bloomfield on Aug. 22, 2005, at the age of 47.
Mrs. Mast was a member of the Crowley's Ridge Mennonite Church at Bell City, a homemaker and a resident of rural Bloomfield.
She was united in marriage to Jonathan Dale Mast on May 7, 1977, at Franklin, Ky. Mr. Mast survives of the home near Bloomfield.
Besides her husband, survivors include four sons: Forrest Mast of Summersville, Tenn., Jonathan Mast, Wade Mast and Dustin Mast, all of the home; five daughters, Holly Troyer of Crossville, Tenn., Gail Mast, Robin Mast, Melody Mast and Lily Beth Mast, all of the home; seven brothers, Simon Overholt of Auburn, Ky., Mart Overholt and Donnie Overholt, both of Aroda, Va., Rudy Overholt of Lyndon, Kan., Lavern Overholt of Fair Play, S.C., Paul Overholt and Jon Overholt, both of Whiteville, Tenn.; five sisters, Arlene Voder of Orrville, Ala., Sara Mae Kramer of Knoxville, Tenn., Lena Miller of Aroda, Va., Marilyn Kanagy of Fair Play, S.C., and Verda Stutzman of Auburn, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Elmo Overholt; and two sisters, Carolyn Overholt and Lily Overholt.
Local services were conducted Tuesday evening in the Crowley's Ridge Mennonite Church at Bell City. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, in the Church of Joy at Leitchfield, Ky., with Jim Voder officiating.
Interment will follow in the Cedar Springs Cemetery at Clarkson, Ky.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
