Floyd Earl Stevens, son of the late George A. Stevens and Harriet Vaughn Stevens, was born on November 13, 1916 in Missouri and died in the San Leandro Hospital in San Leandro, Calif., on August 19, 2005 at the age of 88.

Mr. Stevens was a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1941-1961, a former sheet-metal mechanic, a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge number 532, a member of the Retired Enlisted Association, a resident of San Leandro, Calif., and formerly of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Anna Mae Anderson. Mrs. Stevens survives of the home in San Leandro, Calif.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Milton E. Stevens of Mt. View, Calif.

Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Masonic services will be conducted at 2 p.m., with the funeral service following the lodge service. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with full military honors.
