Mrs. Kinder resided in Dexter most of her adult life until September of 1989 when she moved to St. Louis to live with her daughters. She was retired from the Elder Manufacturing Company where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.
On Dec. 12, 1931, she was married to Frank Kinder at Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on January 7,1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice Ingalls and Annice Schlattman, both of St. Louis; five grandchildren and spouses, Lt. Col. (Retired) Steve Ingalls and wife Cara of Lansing, Kan., Capt. Kerry Ingalls and wife Leesa of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mary Krebs and husband Scott of Centreville, Va., Jeff Schlattman and wife Debbie of St. Louis, and Julie Burton and husband Chris of St. Louis; 11 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew, Amanda and Audrey Ingalls, Elisabeth and Stephen Krebs, Joshua and Margaret Ann Burton, Jacob, Sophia and John Schlattman.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter officiating.
Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
