Dale J. Eskew

Dale J. Eskew, son of the late Curtis and Eva Martin Eskew, was born in Dexter on July 15, 1941, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at the age of 64.

He had moved to St. Louis in 1962 and returned to Dexter in 2003. He was retired and had worked at Bodine Aluminum where he was a maintenance mechanic.

Surviving are one brother, Larry "Butch" Eskew of Jackson; four sisters, Delois Gales of Dexter, Pauline Griffy of Jackson, Reta DePriest of Kennett, and Jo Ann Pettibone of Overland.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Keith Garland of Dexter officiating and assisted by Rev. Marty Lamp.

Interment will follow in the Harper Cemetery in Aid. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
