Katherine Southerland, daughter of the late Andrew and Effie May Anderson was born at Aid on February 6, 1910 and died on September 15, 2005 in Rochester, NY at the age of 95.

Mrs. Southerland was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. She was married to Robert L. Southerland. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Margeret Politte, of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn her passing.

Graveside rites will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Harper Cemetery in Aid. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
