Vivian Gary

Vivian Gary, daughter of the late Oren L. Harris and Emma Weeks Harris, was born on Feb. 27, 1921, at Jackson, Tenn., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Sept. 25, 2005, at the age of 84.

On July 3, 1937, she was united in marriage to Charles W. Gary. Mr. Gary preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1977.

Vivian was a housewife, member of the Bernie Methodist Church, and a resident of Dexter, formerly of Bernie.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne Keathley and Bob of Bernie and Elaine King and John of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandsons, Michael Keathley, Ron Keathley, and David Keathley, all of Dexter, Gary Keathley of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, and Shannon King of Knoxville, Tenn.; four granddaughters-in-law, Julie, Miki, and Karen, all of Dexter and Cary of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; 10 great-grandchildren, Megan, Hannah, Nolan, Jamie, Garrett, Hallie Grace, Peyton, and Mason, all of Dexter, Caitlyn and Christopher, both of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Roark, Dorothy Gary, and Geraldine Gary, all of Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Bernie Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Bernie Methodist Church, Bernie Library, or the Stoddard County Children's Home.
