Mildred Aslin, daughter of the late Aud Launius and Estelle Lewis launius, was born on Aug. 20, 1923, at Bloomfield and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at the age of 82.

Mrs. Aslin was of the Baptist faith, a former Urology nurse at Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff and a resident of Dexter.

On May 27, 1944, she was united in marriage to William Carl Aslin at Bloomfield. Mr. Aslin preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Tinker and larry of Grover Beach, Calif.; one daughter-in-law, Susan Aslin of Fenton; three grandchildren, Amy Lynn LaRosa and husband Nick of Fenton, Steve Aslin and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jeff Aslin of Fenton; and two great-grandchildren, Tori and Drew LaRosa of Fenton.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dale Aslin and by two brothers.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
