Sharon Oliver, daughter of Ruth Sharp of Galesburg, Ill., and the late Gerald Sharp, Sr., was born on Nov. 15, 1947, at Galesburg, Ill., and died in the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at the age of 57.

Mrs. Oliver was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Richard Oliver on Dec. 19, 1998, at Aquilla. Mr. Oliver survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Mike Allen and Jimmy Allen, both of the state of California; two daughters, Jeanette Hefner and Crystal Allen, both of California; two brothers, George Sharp of Illinois and Gerald Sharp, Jr. of Colorado; three sisters, Theresa Ellsworth of Bernie, Linda Snell and Frances Barker, both of Dexter.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2005.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Mary Jo Gilliland officiating.

Interment followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with full military honors.
