Lyle Hardin

Lyle Hardin, the son of the late Samuel Sanford and Nellie Mae Whitworth Hardin, was born in Clinton, Ark., on April 14, 1939, and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at the age of 66.

He had lived all his life in Missouri and had lived in Parma for several years before moving to Bernie 11 years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma and was retired from Venture Products.

On Oct. 9, 1964, he was married to Mary Crain in Bernie.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Hardin of Bernie; one son, Darren Hardin of Bernie; two daughters, Tonja Pulling and Lisa kirk, all of Parma; one granddaughter; two brothers, Sam and Frank Hardin, both of Malden; and one sister, Mildred Blackburn of Parma.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Beck; and five brothers, Joe, Herbert, Hubert, Wendell and Bill Hardin.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in the First Baptist Church in Parma with Rev. John Girdley of Parma officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
