Thomas M. Hartle, son of the late Elmer Hartle and Carrie Stearns Hartle, was born Jan. 10, 1930, in the state of Missouri and died in Connellsville, Pa., on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at the age of 75.

Mr. Hartle was a resident of Connellsville, Pa. He was of the Sabbatarian faith.

Survivors include his wife, Shannon S. White Hartle of Connellsville, Pa.; two sons, Larry J. Hartle of St. Louis and Lance Stimmel of Connellsville, Pa.; two daughters, Beverly Bross of St. Louis and Lenise Plas of Mt. Pleasant, Pa.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Troy Hartle of Bernie and Delmer Hartle of Arizona; and one sister, Donna Anderson of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents by one sister, Betty Fuemmeler.

Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with pastor Dale Hartle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chauk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
