Mrs. Warren was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, a former welder with Emerson Electric in St. Louis, a former paster with the International Shoe Company in Dexter, a baby-sitter in Dexter for several years and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to James Warren on Nov. 13, 1937, at Campbell. Mr. Warren preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1990.
Survivors include one son, Conrad Warren of Dexter; one daughter, Carlean Johnson of Gig Harbor, Wash.; one sister, Velma Belt of Campbell; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her adopted family, Carolyn Staggs, McKenna Staggs, Scott Staggs, Brooklyn Staggs and Madison Staggs.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Carlos Warren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
