Herschel Dewitt, a resident of rural Essex, died on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 70.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
