Grover M.K. O'Hare

Grover M.K. O'Hare, son of the late Keith O'Hare and Marie Jones O'Hare, was born on May 1, 1944, at Dudley and died in the Memorial Medical Center at Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at the age of 64.

Mr. O'Hare was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served for 20 years, a former employee of Sea Land. He volunteered as treasurer for the DAV Chapter 1 in Jacksonville, Fla., and was a resident of Jacksonville, formerly of Stoddard County.

He was united in marriage to Shirley May O'Hare. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Patrick O'Hare of the state of Washington; one daughter, Norma Dickinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a granddaughter; and one sister, Janettie Speer of Advance.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Martin O'Hare; and one sister, Shirley Spangler.

Visitation will be held from noon - 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Tolbert officiating.

Interment will then follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with full military honors.
