William L. Rose, son of the late Escho Burr Rose and Clarsie E. Rennison Rose, was born on Feb. 3, 1932, at Toledo, Ohio and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at the age of 73.
Mr. Rose was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War, a semi-truck driver for many years, and a resident of Dexter.
Survivors include four daughters, Marjorie Parfrey and husband Stan of Round Lake Beach, Ill., Phyllis Roach and Wanda Desoto, both of Pueblo, Colo., and Delores Roach of Alamosa, Colo.; three brothers, Ardeth Rose of Los Angeles, Calif., Donald Rose of Dexter, and Roy Rose and wife Wava of NeKoosa, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and his caretaker and niece, Pamela Petersen of Dexter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Rev. Leroy Young officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
