Samantha Gail Vaughn, daughter of the late Elaine Vaughn Northern, was born in Dexter on Oct. 30, 1982, and died due to injuries received in an automobile accident near Bloomfield on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at the age of 23.

She had lived in Dexter all her life. She was a licensed medical technician and had worked at Beverly Health & Rehab Center and Central Gardens in Dexter.

Surviving are the parents who raised her, Thomas "Sonny" and Julia Vaughn of Bloomfield; her great-grandmother, Mamie May of Panama City, Fla.; her fiancÚ, Dan Reinbott of Dexter; two sisters, Stephanie McClusky of Greenwood, Miss., and Serena Neeley of Park Hills; one nephew, Parker David Mayes of Greenwood, Miss.; six aunts, Patsy Neeley of Malden, Catherine Vaughn-Reinbott of Greenwood, Miss., Sondra Julius and Rose Denny, both of Puxico, Debra Shirrell of Zalma, Aline Eubanks of Bloomfield; three uncles, Calvin and Ronnie Julius, both of Puxico, and Rick Julius of Fisk; and great-uncle and wife, Joseph and Sue Mayberry of Daleville, Ala.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
