Margaret L. Fisher
Margaret L. Fisher, the daughter of the late William M. Fisher and Carrie Wilson Fisher, was born in Sikeston on Aug. 12, 1918, and passed away at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter on Nov. 23, 2005, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 8 days.

She was a long time member of and served as a Sunday school teacher at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. She retired after 43 years of service with Southwestern Bell in Sikeston and St. Louis.

She is survived by a niece, Martha Webb of Dexter; a cousin, Shirley Cummins of Millstadt, Ill., who was raised with Margaret; three very special friends, Doris Biggs, Glenda Williamson and Tonya Jones. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Emmett, and a sister, Mrs. W.F. (Frances) Webb, and a nephew, W.F. (Bill) Webb Jr.

Friends may call at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, Nov. 28, at 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
