Mr. Reynolds lived in Bernie before moving to Elgin, Ill., over 50 years ago. He was a tile setter and had worked for Coleman Flooring and G. M. Sloan Tile. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. During the conflict, he was a P.O.W.
On Oct. 24, 1961, he was married to Carolyn Sue Fleenor.
Surviving are his wife Carolyn Sue Reynolds of Elgin, Ill.; one son, Houston Dale Reynolds of Wappapello; two daughters, Rhonda Kay Knudson of New Jersey and Carrie Sue Scott of Elgin, Ill.; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Fay Bunch and Sue Dock, both of Dexter, and Yvonne Hopkins of Spring Hill.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will be at a later date with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
