Geneva F. Harrellson Crow, daughter of the late Benjamin Conway and Caltonia Young Harrelson, was born in rural Bernie near Sugar Tree on Oct. 20, 1915, and died at her home near Bernie on Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at the age of 90.
She had lived near Bernie all her life where she and her husband had farmed. She was the 2003 Missouri Farm Woman of the Year and was a member of the Poplar Bluff master Gardeners.
On Oct. 20, 1934, she was married to Shelby Chalmer Crow in Kennett. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Shirley Crow Stephens of Parma; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, Shelby Chalmer Crow, Jr.; one sister, Beatrice Harrellson; three brothers, Chalmer Harrellson, Benjamin Harrellson, and James Glenn Harrellson.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Father Glenn Eftink of Glennonville officiating.
Interment followed in the Bernie Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
