James "Dobbie" Duncan, 46, of Advance was born April 28, 1959, at Bloomfield, the son of Paul and Bernice Morlan Duncan, and died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at his home.

Dobbie was a construction worker.

On Feb. 18, 1989, he and Dorothy Hill were united in marriage at Bloomfield, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include three brothers, Ronnie Duncan of Brownwood, Tony Duncan of Sikeston, and Eddie Duncan of Kennett; two sisters, Shirley Brigman of Dexter and Connie Housman of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Duncan.

Visitation will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Brad Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
