She had lived in Bloomfield and Dexter all her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Dexter.
On Feb. 19, 1950, she was married to Carl Norman Capps in Hornersville.
Surviving are her husband, Norman Capps of Dexter; one daughter, Brenda Johnson of Washington; one son, Larry Capps of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Wilma Allen of Raytown and Ruby Lee of Hornersville.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Winchester; and three brothers, Walter, Lester and Gova Morris.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Vaughn Wright of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
