Dorothy Dean Roberts, the daughter of the late Flurrence and Martha Crouch Dean, was born in Morrilton, Ark., on April 6, 1919, and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter on Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at the age of 86.

She had lived in Dexter for many years.

She was married to Phillip Roberts in Chicago, Ill.; he preceded her in death.

Surviving are three granddaughters, Marcia Craft of Dexter, Brenda White of Union, and Barbara Morlan of Bloomfield; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley Pravatte of Hector, Ark., Fanny Wandvick of Ballon, Nev., Hazel Ciarlo of Hayward, Calif., and Lois Ramos of Salinas, Calif.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Pruitt on Oct. 15, 1997; one brother, Doyle Dean; and two sisters, Sylvia and Laverne.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
