Hilda Fuwell

Hilda Fuwell, daughter of the late Alvin Gauldin and Helen Smith Gauldin Prince, was born on Jan. 21, 1939, at Tigrett, Tenn., and died in her residence near Bloomfield on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at the age of 67.

Mrs. Fuwell was the owner of Fuwell Residential Care in rural Dexter, had been a former foster parent in her home since 1982, and a resident of rural Bloomfield.

She was united in marriage to Freemond "Bud" Fuwell on July 14, 1956, at Chicago, Ill. Mr. Fuwell preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2004.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Graebner of Dexter and Teresa Allen of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Gauldin.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating.

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
