Virginia May "Jenny" DeWitte, daughter of Faye Baca and Earl Buelow, was born in Poplar Bluff on July 12, 1955, and died at the St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at the age of 50.

Mrs. DeWitte was a former resident of Van Buren and Poplar Bluff.

In March of 2005 she was married to Tim DeWitte.

Surviving are her husband Tim DeWitte of Indianapolis, Ind.; her mother and step-father, Faye and Claudio Baca of Bloomfield; one son, Bobby Bland of St. Peters; one daughter, Jennifer Goodson of St. Clair; one step-son, Timothy Hensley of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Larry Harmon of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Ruth Strickland of Bloomfield and Larmie Kay Stamper of Memphis, Tenn.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield with Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter officiating.
