Mr. Ferrara was the owner and operator of Ferrara Gulf Service Station in Dexter for many years. He was affiliated with the Dexter Church of God, a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, and a resident of Dexter.
On Oct. 24, 1943, he was united in marriage to Julia Estes in Dexter. Mrs. Ferrara survives of the home in Dexter.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Ferrara of Dexter; one son, Mike Ferrara of Alturas, Calif.; and one grandson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
