Floetta M. Myers, 75, of Advance, formerly of Wolf Lake, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at the Advance Nursing Home in Advance. She was born May 3, 1930, at Hope, Ark., the daughter of Henry and Jeffie Brockham Farmer.

She was married to Sidney A. Myers on May 6, 1946, at Jonesboro, Ill. He preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1999.

Floetta is survived by two sons, Sidney Myers of E. Cape Girardeau, Ill., and Dennis Myers of Tamms; four daughters, Shirley Smith of Jonesboro, Ill., Vonnie Rogers of Ware, Ill., Phyllis Umfleet of Advance, and Marsha Seabaugh of Advance; two brothers, Robert "Ernie" Farmer of Pinckeyville, Ill., Jack Farmer of Eureka, Ill.; two sisters, Grace DuShell of Jackson and Margie Abernathy of Wolf Lake, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, James "Bud" Farmer; and two sisters, Retha Walker and Ruth Harris.

Floetta was a member of the Faith Assembly Church at Wolf Lake.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Floetta M. Myers will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., with the Rev. Jim Stamp officiating.

Interment will follow in the Alto Pass Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
