Clareen Wallace Macklin, 74, of St. Genevieve was born Jan. 9, 1932, at Lowndes, the daughter of Harry and Ermine Davis Wallace, and died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at the Advance Nursing Center.
Clareen was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness.
Clareen and Finley Macklin were united in marriage on Feb. 10, 1975, at St. Genevieve, and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include her mother, Ermine Davis of Dexter; a son, Timothy Shrum of St. Genevieve; a daughter, Janeen Bivens of Advance; three brothers, Wayne Wallace of Greenville, Richard Wallace of Advance, and Larry Wallace of Brownwood; three sisters, Lorene Durham of St. Charles, Shirley Phillips of High Ridge, and Pauline Anderson of Dexter; and four grandchildren, Ben Bivens, Katie Bivens, Brian Bivens, and Nikki Shrum.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Maxine Little of Puxico.
Visitation was held from 4:30-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Ronald Gegg officiating.
Interment followed in McGee New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
