She had resided in Dexter, Bloomfield and Essex areas most of her life.
On June 19, 1961, she was married to Edwin E. Vaughn in Donaldsonville, Ga.
She was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church of Dexter.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin Vaughn of Malden; two sons, William Gene Vaughn of Dexter and Christopher Allen Vaughn of Campbell; two daughters, Regina Marie Wells of Malden and Tracy Jo Weiss of Arbyrd; one brother, Robert Parker of Gray Court, S.C.; and one sister, Geneva Riley of Steele; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Oather Parker.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Priscilla and Jeff Riley of Tyronza, Ark., officiating.
Interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
