He had been a construction worker and was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Alfreida Cazee-Linton; two sons, Timothy M. Cazee and Thomas M. Cazee, both of Bloomfield; one stepson, Tommy Burris of West Terre Haute, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Dakota Burris of West Terre Haute, Ind.; three sisters, Drewell "Tilley" Wright of Bloomington, Ind., Veneta "Faye" Baxley of Dugger, Ind., and Brenda J. Deckard of Bloomfield, Ind.; six grandchildren; and one brother, James Cazee of Bloomington, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia M. Cazee in February of 2000; his grandparents, Delbert Cazee, Gertie Baxter Cazee, James C. Philpott, and Nellie Haire Philpott.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2006, at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, 700 Gourley Pike, Bloomington, Ind. 47404.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006, at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel with Bro. David Beecham officiating.
Interment followed in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
