Bonnie Lou Schindler

Bonnie Lou Schindler, daughter of the late William and Virginia Snider, was born on May 18, 1923, at Dry Valley and died in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Louis on Monday, March 13, 2006, at the age of 82.

Mrs. Schindler was a homemaker, a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary at Wappapello, a former resident of Morehouse and Dexter, currently residing at Chesterfield.

She was united in marriage to Stanley Felix Schindler on Nov. 16, 1946, at St. Louis. Mr. Schindler preceded her in death on May 20, 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Meyer of Chesterfield and Jackie Forrest of Lexington, Ky.; her long-time companion, Don Harris of Dexter; one sister, Dorma Lee Booker of Jefferson City; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Deacon Jim Long officiating.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
