Zachary Gore, the son of Claude Gore III and Wendi Burchett Gore, was born in Sikeston on June 16, 1995, and died at his home in Wappapello on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at the age of 10.

Zachary had lived in Wappapello most all his life. His biggest enjoyment was listening to music.

Surviving are his parents Claude "Chip" Gore III and Wendi Gore of Wappapello; paternal grandparents Claude and Anita Gore of Wappapello; paternal great-grandmothers, Juanita Gore of Rector, Ark., and Imogene Holifield of Piggott, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Lindy and Jan Burchett of Stillwell, Okla.; maternal great-grandparents, James and Wynette Williams of Fairdealing; two brothers, Mark and Logan Gore of Wappapello; and two sisters, Dawn and Kathleen Gore of Puxico.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Mike Holifield of Kennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wappapello Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
