Authur L. Litton, son of the late George Washington Litton and Athia Thompson Litton, was born April 18, 1930, and died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Ind.

He was united in marriage to Armareeta Lindley on Nov. 9, 1949, at Piggott, Ark.

He was a retired electrician who formerly lived in Naylor and Dexter.

Survivors include two sons, Donnie Litton of Bloomfield and Robert Litton of Dexter; one daughter, Margarette Holland of Dexter; two sisters, Wilma Ruth Litton Hayes of Elkhart, Ind., and Lula Virginia Litton Ross of of Michigan; three brothers, Leonard Litton of harviell, Cecil Elmer Litton of Wauchula, Fla., and Marvin Eugene Litton of Dowagiac, Mich.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with Greg Faughn officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairdealing Cemetery.
