Lucas D. Lemons, 25, of Marble Hill, formerly of Zalma, was born July 30, 1980, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Harold and Barbara Hughes Lemons, and died Friday, March 24, 2006, at Marble Hill.

Lucas was a 1998 graduate of Zalma High School. He was the shop foreman at Lemons Coin Machine Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was also a member of the Zalma Masonic Lodge 545 A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include his parents, Harold and Barbara Lemons of Zalma; a brother, Eric Lemons of Zalma; maternal grandmother, Beulah Hughes of Advance; and paternal grandmother, Ethel Lemons of Zalma.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandfather.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Lee Roy Hefner officiating.

Interment will follow at Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.
