Richard A. Greene, the son of Charlotte K. Lawrence Greene and the late Rev. Charles Greene, was born in Lucedale, Miss., on June 26, 1967, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at the age of 38.

Mr. Greene has lived in Southeast Missouri the past 25 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Nicole Greene and Meagan Elizabeth Greene, both of Dexter; his mother, Charlotte K. Greene of Bloomfield; two brothers, Gordon Greene of Dexter and Darren Greene of Bloomfield; one sister, Suzanne Frye of Cumberland, Md.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Kozora; and two brothers, Charles and Dennis Greene.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
