Karen Grubbs, 50, of Puxico died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Mrs. Grubbs was born March 17, 1956, in Advance. She was a lifetime resident of Puxico and employed at ArvinMeritor in Dexter.

She was married to Farrell Grubbs, and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Cody Grubbs and Calli Grubbs, both of Puxico; one daughter, Tammy Hood of Florida; two brothers, Louis McGee, Jr. and Tim McGee, both of Puxico; one sister, Jean Mahurin of Arnold; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m. March 28, 2006, at Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico.

The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating.

Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery.
