Otis Gregory

Otis Gregory, son of the late James W. Gregory and Lily Boone Gregory, was born on April 28, 1939, at Vinson and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the age of 75.

Mr. Gregory was a former foreman for Sundstrand Aviation at Rockford, Ill., a former bus driver for the Dexter Public School System, resident of Dexter and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Mildred Delores Minehart on May 17, 1949, at Pocahontas, Ark. Mrs. Gregory survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Roger Gregory of Kennewick, Wash.; four brothers, Denver Gregory of Dexter, Darrel Gregory of Bernie, Loyd Gregory and Dale Gregory, both of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Onvall Noyes of Tuscon, Ariz., Ann Henderson of Dexter, and Hazel Crouch of Bernie; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Perry Dwain Gregory; and one brother, Howard Gregory.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating.

Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery.
