Scott Bolin, 69, of Bloomfield was born March 11, 1937, at Bloomfield, the son of Albert and Ethel Whitson Bolin, and died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Scott retired as a water superintendent for Bloomfield, and he had also worked as a maintenance supervisor in Beverly Health Center in Bloomfield.

Survivors include two sons, Allen and Windfield Bolin, both of Bloomfield; three daughters, Kim Johnson and Kay Byrd, both of Bloomfield, and Stephanie Robinson of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, with a memorial service in Dexter at New Life Full Gospel Church (in the Fellowship Hall) starting at 7 p.m. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Foster.
