Remona Sue Bess, 71, of Bell City, was born Oct. 18, 1934, at Dongola, the daughter of Rosewell and Mona Sitz Bess, and died Monday, April 10, 2006, at her home.

Remona was a graduate of Bell City High School. She worked for 21 years at the Inland Shoe Factory in Advance and then 12 years at Wohl Shoe Company in Sikeston.

Survivors include two brothers, Earl Bess of Cape Girardeau and Steve Bess of Sikeston; six sisters, Barbara Hoosier of Bell City, Glenda Seagraves of Rector, Ark., Vera Mason of Bell city, Wanda Rayles of Kokomo, Ind., Dorothy Phegley of Perkins and Colene McCormack of Lenia, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. Dale McFadlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Morgan Memoral Park in Advance.
