Peggy J. Boshear, the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Strickland, was born in Bainbridge, Ga., on Feb. 22, 1939, and died at her home in Puxico on Saturday, March 4, 2006, at the age of 67.

She had resided in Puxico since 1995. She enjoyed reading.

In 1962, she was married to Edgar Boshear in California, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Hank Boshear of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Jerry Brewer of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Carl Boshear; and her daughter, Denise Hart.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at the Puxico Cemetery with Rev. Marvis Bryant of Puxico officiating.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
