Jerry Lee Logan, son of Tressie Aline Causbie Logan and the late Chelsie Lee Logan, was born on May 16, 1938, at Bernie and died at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the age of 67.

Mr. Logan was a farmer and was a member of the Bernie Church of the Nazarene and a resident of rural Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Joan Sitz on Sept. 13, 1973, at Greenville. She survives of the home in Dexter.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Logan of Dexter; his mother, Tressie Aline Logan of Dexter; two daughters, Staci Lee Logan of Cape Girardeau and Jolean Ruth Duer of Dexter; three sons, Leslie Humphrey of Evansville, Ind., Randy Humphrey of Dexter, and Gale Humphrey of Bloomfield; one brother, Larry Logan of Bernie; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2006, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Wells and Rev. Dean Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
