Debbie Stewart Reynolds

Debbie Stewart Reynolds, the daughter of Nina Gibson Stewart and the late Donald Stewart, was born in Dexter on April 4, 1953, and died at her home near Poplar Bluff on Monday, April 24, 2006, at the age of 53.

Mrs. Reynolds had lived in Puxico many years and was a graduate of Puxico High School, class of 1972, had lived in Florida for 20 years and had moved to Poplar Bluff one year ago. She had worked as a clerk at the Christian Book Store in Poplar Bluff, and worked as a D.J. and other duties at K.O.K.S. in Poplar Bluff.

Surviving are two sons, Shawn Harty of Bernie and Justin Harty of Puxico; her mother, Nina Stewart of Poplar Bluff; one grandson; and two brothers, Steve and Benjamin Stewart, both of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
